NExT 2026 Workshop, Singapore

We are pleased to announce the NExT Singapore Workshop 2026, which will take place from April 29 to May 1, 2026. The theme of this year’s workshop is “Responsible AI”, featuring a series of focused activities:

    • 25-28 Apr: Pre-workshop event - RAi Sandpit Workshop. (Associated event organized by Prof. Chua Tat-Seng and Prof. Wendy Hall). Please note that the RAi Workshop is strictly by invitation only, with the exception of the last day.
    • 29-30 Apr: NExT Workshop focusing on "Responsible AI".
    • 1 May: Discussion on AI trends and future planning for NExT Workshops.

This workshop is designed to bring together NExT members and collaborators to explore the advancements, applications, and future pathways of Responsible AI. Participation is by invitation only, with registration limited to invitees.

We will gather at Changi Sailing Club (32 Netheravon Rd, Singapore 508508) for a scenic coastal walk along the Changi Point Coastal Walk — enjoy fresh sea breezes and beautiful views of yachts moored in the marina. After the walk, we will head to dinner at Georges @ Changi (Seafix Restaurant), a popular restaurant just nearby.

1 May 2026: Half-day Tour

We will spend the morning at Rainforest Wild ASIA (20 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore 729825), Asia's first wildlife adventure park opened in March 2025. Spanning 13 hectares of lush greenery, the park features eight immersive zones home to 36 species including the Malayan tiger, sun bear, François' langur and the Philippine spotted deer. Explore the elevated canopy walkway for sweeping rainforest views, or take the Orange Trek across logs and boulders for a closer encounter with nature.
